Our Story
Solmate was born from my love of sunshine and a personal journey toward protecting the skin I’m in. As I entered my early 30s, I started to notice signs of sun damage—not from beach days or vacations, but from years of everyday exposure without proper protection.
As a former fashion stylist, I quickly recognized that the market for UPF 50+ clothing was limited. That gap in the market led me to create Solmate—a brand rooted in style, self-care, and skin health.
I set out to design a sunwear brand that women would actually want to wear: fashion-forward, functional pieces made with premium UPF 50+ fabrics and tailored to fit beautifully. Solmate is for women who care about feeling good in their skin—now and in the future—and who believe that sun protection shouldn’t mean compromising on style or hiding from the sun.
